The Brown/Trinity Playwrights Repertory Theatre offers a summer season of three new plays by established and emerging American playwrights, many of whom are Brown alumni.
Founded by Lowry Marshall in 2005, now led by Artistic Director Kenneth Prestininzi, this unique summer company performs in the intimacy of Leeds Theatre at Brown University. Playwrights Rep provides opportunities for MFA acting and directing students, as well as Brown alums, to develop new work with some of America’s most popular playwrights.
Past productions have included Warfare by Paul Grellong (2005), Speech and Debate by Stephen Karam (2006), boom by Peter Sinn Nachtrieb (2007), In Spite of the Devil by Andy Bragan (2008), Life Science by Anna Ziegler (2009), Baz and Me, a new musical by Andrew Hertz and Nate Sloan (2010), My New Best Friend by Brooke Berman (2011), Reunion by Gregory S.
